Hybrid apps are hot right now! Basically, a combination of web, desktop, and mobile, these apps brilliantly allow a build-once, deploy-to-many approach to differing software platforms, including Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.

OneHat typically builds these apps using React, but can also work with Vue, Angular, or ExtJS.

    Case Study: WSCinME

WSCinME is an app designed to help families and individuals learn and memorize the Westminster Shorter Catechism.

It’s primarily a music player, but also features animated karaoke-style lyrics, and scripture references for each question/answer.

This app deploys natively to iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux. There is also a web-app version for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. And it also has a version for Amazon Alexa devices like the Echo Dot and Echo Show.
